REPTILES are very interesting rare creatures, the best known reptiles are lizards and snakes and most have scales. They are cold-blooded and have claws on the end of there toes. There are 4600 species of reptiles. Snakes are long skinny creatures that eat things by squeezing them and suffocating there prey and then swallow them whole! Some reptiles are said to have lived when the dinosaurs, so you can imagine they are pretty old. Reptiles are air breathing animals that live not only in water sometimes but of coarse land. These creatures have scales tht cover their whole body. They also lay eggs instead of live babies like most mammals do.
